Says Scopes Trial Will Help Religion. New York Times (1923-current). June 15. 1925; (1851-2008) pg. 18.
This primary source is a newspaper article from the New York times about a week after the trial. This source talked more about the religion part of the trial, between the modernists and the fundamentalists. The clash between the two has brought many uprisings from scientists and pastors. The scopes trial in fact helped the defeat of the scientists and has encouraged many to believe in genesis and not evolution.
American Decades, Primary Sources. Scope V. Tennessee Except, Thomson. Gale. Pg. 165-169.
This primary source was very brief but good. There was a direct quote by the superintendent of the trial and the judge of the trial and then gave a thorough explanation of what and why the superintendent said these words. This primary source also gave a legitimate document of the trial.

Ed. Judith S. Baughman, Victor Bondi, Richard Layman, Tandy McConnell, and Vincent Tompkins. Vol. 3: 1920-1929. Detroit: Gale, 2001
This secondary source provide many information about the whole entire outline of the scopes trial. It gave a clear, simple, and easy version of understanding the trial, and the cause and effects of the trial. The after math of the trial resulted in many satisfactiion towqrds the overall faith of the US. With this said, this quote seems a little biased against the modernist side but overall tries to stay neutral.
Nardo, Don. The Scopes Trial. Lucent books. C 1997. 96p
This secondary source and book gave a ton of information about the scopes trial. This source carried direct quoted from Bryan Jennigs and the superintendent, and has also carried good further explanation. Because i obtained this quote in the uw library, i could not take a significant amount of notes from this source. This book is a very good book overall and i wish to have it again soon.
Fox, Jesse, Larson edwards, Candill Edward; the Scopes Trial; A Photographic History; p. University of Tennesee press. C 2000
This secondary source and book was a rather blumish book for its exessive pictures and lack of words and information. This book would be good in making a the final product, but it would be hard to find the same exact pictures that the books carried on the internet. Because i am making a website, the pictures would be rather usefull an therefore this book would be good. But i found this book at the U.W. library and now have no access to it.
Lange, Dorothea. Sunday mourning. Dayton Tennessee, C. July 1936.

Though this information was very useful and i used them very well. The brief information that it gave was very good because it talked about the entire scopes trial with the cause and effect it has on for the American history.
